Why should walls be washed before painting?
Paint does not bond well to grease, smoke film or dust. Washing first removes it, so paint goes on evenly, sticks better and stains do not bleed through. It usually saves a coat of paint.
Can wall washing remove cigarette smoke?
Wall washing removes much of the yellow nicotine film and odor from walls and ceilings. Heavy smoke damage may also need a stain-blocking primer before paint, which we can handle.
Do you paint rental units?
